Marina di Campo is the most popular resort and beach of the island, which is known as a small pearl in the Mediterranean.

The village of Marina di Campo is created in the twentieth century, a small fishing village with fishermen from Ponza and local growers. Since the fifties Marina di Campo developed, thanks to the advent of tourism and the enrichment of tourist services of all kinds, to a beautiful resort.

The resort of Marina di Campo is known for its beautiful golden sandy beach, which stretches over 1.5 km. The beach is not only characterized by the presence of elegant and well-equipped bathing facilities, but also by large areas of free beach. Near the beach is a pine forest and a beautiful beach promenade, by which one reaches the historic center of the town. In Marina di Campo are many good restaurants serving local food, meat and fish restaurants, shops, boutiques, craft shops, and especially in the summer they offer many events.
